Nothin Tacky About This Art Work

Tacky Tuesday came and went this last week the 19th of October. We had prizes for the best constructed Popsicle stick building. Free pop went to the winners of the older and younger ages.
All in all the art work was pretty sharp.

2010-2011 First Week @ Underground

Everyone,
Welcome back to the Underground for another fabulous year here. In our first week attendance was down from the end of last year but everyone who came had a great time. Tuesday we did a ongoing mural "What You Disd This summer" that is on display at the Galaxy gallery.
We are currently in our second week and finally we saw alot of last years regulars at early out on wednesday the 2nd. In fact we had 35 come through the doors. Gordon has been helping me with volunteering. So we were able to split the group yesterday and one group watched Blindside a movie while the others played in dodgeball tournaments.
Our first Fifth Quarter is coming up this friday. I am excited to experience that for the first time.

Thunder Thursday

Today our focus is gaming. I am wearing my referee outfit and the dodgeball tournament is about to start. We have had some great competitions on our sports court of champions. Today i am asking our Underground warriors to share their thoughts about our games. What is your favorite?

Homestretch

We are excited to see so many in attendance on a daily basis at the Underground. 42 came during the early out Wednesday. 22 came to the Movies on Friday!!! We are excited to finish the school year on the last day of school with a grill out at Whistle Park. Comment here to share your experiences the last two weeks.

ON Monday we had our first highlight. George shared about his very interesting life and of course the goldfish!!!!!! Never seen someone so in love with goldfishes...

For everyone who hasn't met my wife her name is Michele and she has been a elementary teacher, pastor, and preschool teacher the last 16 years. She has graced us with her presence numerous times. We are newlyweds. Smile!!!!
